How do you like it when someone asks “What are your hobbies?”. This is such an ice breaker question. It can make or break a conversation. You know,I always wanted to have interesting answers for it.My so called hobbies had just been temporary.Choosing one and sticking to it has been a great challenge for me.I am torn between time management and priorities in my life.
Some times things seem very fashionable but fail to turn into passion and thereby they fade.
One such example is my violin classes. It so happened that one fine day I realized that every individual should have knowledge of at-least one musical instrument. Without having any prior knowledge of music I decided to learn violin. It all sounded interesting when I saw it in movies and commercials.I also thought it was handy compared to guitar/piano.I also had a company,my collegue-friend Akshatha. The violin teacher was a too old man, aging. We failed to find another one in our vicinity.Thats where my violin lessons took halt forever.
Then came photography, click click.I just loved to click when I did not have a camera. But,photography is not just clicking;understanding technical aspects, getting a nice composition etc.. was out of my scope. When I carried camera to any social events,I felt I was missing all the fun out there because of here a click ,there a click everywhere a click click activity of mine.Thats how I said a good-bye to camera.I don’t mind posing for it though.
Currently,my so called hobbies I would rather say my interests are reading,to be specific non-fiction,writing and fitness-walking.I hope they will soon become my hobbies.
All of them are very very low cost or I might as well say free of cost.I have a library near by which gives me access to plenty of books and parks nearby for my fitness walking. All I need is some time for myself and determination.
